Lexington Closes Town Offices July 3–4 for Independence Day Holiday

Residents heading to town hall next week will find the doors locked: Lexington is observing Independence Day with closures on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, while today also marks the final day to apply for a coveted seat on a regional school board.

Non-emergency town offices and buildings will be closed on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, in recognition of Independence Day. Residents with time-sensitive needs should plan accordingly and conduct any necessary business before the holiday stretch begins.

Separately, today — June 26 — is the deadline for Lexington residents to submit applications to the Select Board for the town's representative seat on the Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School Committee. Interested residents can apply through the town's website at https://www.lexingtonma.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=902.
