Twenty properties changed hands in Lexington between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, according to South Middlesex Registry of Deeds records. Twelve of those sales carry a recorded price so far, ranging from $840,000 for a condominium at 661 Lowell St. Unit 16 to $3,980,000 for a single-family home at 22 Nickerson Road, the period's top sale. The median price among priced sales was $1,260,500. Lowell Street recorded four transfers, more than any other street. Seven of the eight deeds without a listed price appear to be transfers within the same family or into a trust, which accounts for much of the pricing gap; the remaining sales spanned a broad range from under $1 million to nearly $4 million.
