Lexington Launches LexSortSmart Tool for Waste and Recycling Guidance
LEXINGTON — Lexington rolled out LexSortSmart, a new online tool designed to help residents navigate waste, recycling and disposal rules across town, the town website announced this week.

The Town of Lexington introduced LexSortSmart, described on the town website as a new resource for "everything you need to know about waste collection and disposal in Town." The tool arrives as the town continues rolling out changes to its trash and recycling program, giving residents a single place to check what can and can't go curbside.

The Lexington library calendar has two concrete offerings in the coming days. On Wednesday, July 29, the library hosts "Exercise for Arthritis: Effective Treatments for Pain & Function," a program aimed at residents managing joint pain. On Friday, July 31, the library's virtual cooking series continues with "Cooking with Anastasia — Mediterranean Orzotto & Greek Zucchini Salad," held over Zoom.
