Lexington Opens Board and Committee Applications Through Aug. 31
DATELINE — LEXINGTON Lexington residents have until Monday, Aug. 31, to apply for open seats on the town's boards and committees, according to the town's website, as officials also push forward with an electricity savings program and a full slate of public hearings this month.
TOWN HALL The town is calling on residents to submit applications for current and upcoming openings on Lexington boards and committees, with a submission deadline of Aug. 31. The town did not specify which boards have vacancies in its announcement.
Separately, the town continues to promote its Community Choice Electricity Program, which it says offers steady rates that are typically lower than a resident's base utility rate while drawing on renewable energy sources. The program is free and optional for residents to join.
