Lexington Partners With Davey Resource Group on Urban Forest Master Plan
LEXINGTON — The Town of Lexington has formalized a partnership with Davey Resource Group, Inc. to develop an Urban Forest Master Plan charting the future of the town's tree canopy, with a hybrid community meeting scheduled for July 29 to gather resident input.
TOWN HALL The Urban Forest Master Plan, a joint effort between the town and Davey Resource Group, a subsidiary of the Davey Tree Expert Company, aims to set a clear long-term vision for Lexington's urban forest program. Residents can weigh in directly at a hybrid community meeting set for July 29.
Separately, the Lexington Human Rights Commission has compiled a new webpage of local immigration resources, intended to help residents stay informed about immigration rights, protections and travel guidance. The town also continues to promote its Community Choice Electricity Program, which offers residents steady, often lower-than-base electricity rates sourced from renewable energy.
