LEXINGTON --
HIGH SCHOOL -- The Lexington High School project held its groundbreaking, School Committee member Sarah Carter reported at the panel's Sept. 15 meeting, calling it an exciting milestone with a strong community turnout. The groundbreaking follows the School Building Committee's recent work settling on a field house design that includes a four-lane practice track, a long jump pit and a netted throwing area.
TOWN -- Carter also told the School Committee she attended a ribbon cutting for the new Center playground the prior week, saying design work went into making the playground more inclusive and usable by all members of the community.
